California Department of Tax and Fee Administration
Assembles Trio of Free Seminars for Manufacturing Day

Sacramento – The The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) has teamed up with the California Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz), and the California Alternative Energy and Advanced Transportation Financing Authority (CAEATFA) to hold three Southern California Seminars to educate manufacturers about tax credits and exemptions that are available.

The events take place in three locations over two days and are hosted by the County of San Bernardino, the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership, and the City of Murrieta. The CDTFA will give a presentation on the Manufacturing and Research & Development Equipment Exemption, GO-Biz will talk about the California Competes Tax Credit, and the CAEATFA will describe their Sales and Use Tax Exclusion Program. Manufacturers will learn how they may qualify for a full or partial exemption of sales and use tax on their purchase or lease of equipment and machinery, or earn income tax credits to assist with their expansion in California.

The events are free to the public. The seminar locations and times are:
