TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES: Any person having any right, title, or interest in the following property, may, within twenty (20) days from the date of publication of this notice, file a verified petition stating his or her interest in the property, and requesting the release or recovery on the grounds that the property was erroneously or illegally seized. The verified petition requesting release or recovery of the property must be filed with the Inspections Bureau; California Department of Tax and Fee Administration, PO Box 942879; MIC: 42, Sacramento, CA 94279-0042.

The property consists of 7 packs of unstamped, duty-free, non-MSA cigarettes; 25 packs of unstamped, duty-free, non-MSA, flavor ban cigarettes; 158 units of untaxed flavor ban tobacco products; 50 units of flavor ban flavor enhancers; 116 grams of cannabis flower; 45 units of cannabis or cannabis products from an unlicensed cannabis business, and 555 units of cannabis universal symbol violation. This property was seized pursuant to Business and Professions Code Section 22974.2, 22974.3, and Revenue and Taxation Code section 34016 on August 17, 2026, at 2:25 p.m. from Star Smoke and Gift Shop, DBA: Star Smoke and Giftshop, located at 4639 Planz Rd., Bakersfield, CA 93309.
