The verified petition requesting release or recovery of the property must be filed with the Inspections Bureau; California Department of Tax and Fee Administration, PO Box 942879; MIC:42, Sacramento, CA 94279-0042.

The property consists of 11 packs of unstamped non-MSA cigarettes, 3 packs of flavor ban cigarettes, 2 packs of unstamped/Virginia stamped/flavor ban cigarettes, 32 untaxed flavor ban tobacco products, and 134 units of flavor ban enhancers. This property was seized pursuant to Business and Professions Code Section 22974.2, 22974.3 and Revenue and Taxation Code 30436, on March 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. from Star Smoke and Gift Shop, DBA: Star Smoke and Giftshop, located at 4639 Planz Rd., Bakersfield, CA 93309.
