TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES: Any person having any right, title, or interest in the following property, may, within twenty (20) days from the date of publication of this notice, file a verified petition stating his or her interest in the property, and requesting the release or recovery on the grounds that the property was erroneously or illegally seized. The verified petition requesting release or recovery of the property must be filed with the Investigations Bureau; California Department of Tax and Fee Administration, PO Box 942879; MIC: 100, Sacramento, CA 94279-0100.

The property consists of 7 cartons and 18 packs of various brands of out of state stamped cigarettes; 18 packs Newport brand unstamped cigarettes; 41 units of various disposable vape brands untaxed tobacco products; and 8 units of various disposable vape cannabis products unsecured packaging and unlicensed cannabis business. This property was seized pursuant to Revenue and Taxation Code section 34016 and Business & Professions Code section 22974.3 on August 17, 2023, at 10:36 a.m. from Mohamed Nagi Nasser, DBA C–Town Disc Cigarettes, located at 2550 Seminary Ave., Oakland, CA 94605-1365.
