TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES: Any person having any right, title, or interest in the following property, may, within twenty (20) days from the date of publication of this notice, file a verified petition stating his or her interest in the property, and requesting the release or recovery on the grounds that the property was erroneously or illegally seized. The verified petition requesting release or recovery of the property must be filed with the Tax Investigations & Inspections Bureau; California Department of Tax and Fee Administration, PO Box 942879; MIC: 100, Sacramento, CA 94279-0100.

The property consists of 199 units of commercial packaging, bags, unlicensed cannabis business, cannabis universal symbol violation; 13 units of cannabis edibles, various brands, unlicensed cannabis business; 18 sticks of Newport brand cigarettes, 72 packs of Newport brand cigarettes, and 60 packs of Camel brand cigarettes, unstamped and Non-MSA; and 117 units of nicotine vape, various brands, untaxed tobacco products. This property was seized pursuant to Revenue and Taxation Code sections 30436 and 34016, and Business and Professions Code section 22974.3 on March 25, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. from Abdo Alnugar, DBA Maze Smoke Shop, located at 101 Maze Blvd. #6, Modesto, CA 95351-2644.
