Holds Free Nonprofit Tax Seminar in Oakland
Sacramento – The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) will host a free seminar for nonprofit and exempt organizations on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, in Oakland. Local nonprofit leaders and tax practitioners are encouraged to attend and learn how state tax laws apply to the operation of their organizations.
Representatives from the CDTFA, Employment Development Department, and Franchise Tax Board will be on hand to offer assistance regarding basic sales and use tax for nonprofit and exempt organizations, employment taxes for nonprofits, and compliance for exempt organizations.
